elements, 11/9 session

Does it look messy? YES! Look at the faces of your kids, how focused and serious they are in our lab! It is our goal for them to be responsible for materials they use as well as to think ahead about consequences rather than just being excited. They have also embraced their notebooks as lab report books. This particular session was to discover the carbon dioxide properties. We will lead them soon to understand the atomic mass and the electron shells that are responsible for many reaction that happen when one element meets another!
